Vision FC managed to maintain their unbeaten start to the season, drawing 1-1 with Legon Cities thanks to Emmanuel Kyei Baffour’s late equalizer. Despite their dominant win against Accra Lions in the previous match, Vision FC couldn’t secure back-to-back victories, highlighting the competitive nature of this year’s league.
The match between Accra Lions and Karela United was another testament to the unpredictable excitement of the Ghana Premier League. Ezekiel Alladoh’s last-minute goal salvaged a point for Accra Lions, denying Karela United their first win of the season. Meanwhile, Aduana’s struggles continued as they succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Nations FC at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa. These results underscore the unpredictable nature of the league, where every match can defy expectations.
After a shaky start to the season, Hearts of Oak finally found their rhythm, securing a 2-0 victory over Bechem United at the University of Ghana Stadium. The Phobians’ first win of the campaign was a much-needed morale booster, breaking their cycle of back-to-back losses. This victory could mark the turning point for Hearts of Oak as they aim to climb the league table.
The week will conclude with Dreams FC facing Heart of Lions on Monday, September 23, 2024.
