Heart of Lions returned to winning ways after cruising to a 2-0 victory over Vision FC at the Kpando Stadium on Sunday.First half strikes from Kelvin Asenso and Michael Ephson was enough for the hosts to collect all three points, their first since the victory over All Blacks on March 8, 2026.Ephson, who sealed victory for Lions, had an early goal ruled out after he was found in an offside position. The home side got off to a brilliant start and made their early dominance count after Asenso broke the deadlock in the 11th minute.Just before the goal, Lions were forced into an early substitution with Ali Fawzy coming off for Ruben Hennessy. The change seemed to be a strategic one with Heart of Lions seizing control of the match, and just before half time doubled their advantage.Ephson finished off a brilliant team move as the hosts headed to the break with a two-goal lead. After the break, Vision FC recovered from their slow start and began to get into the match, slowly taking control of the half. And although they were better in the second half, the visitors could not create goal-scoring opportunities, leaving Kpando with a defeat.
