Citi 97.3 FM, has been named the Best English Radio Station at the 29th Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Awards, held at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
The award recognises the station’s outstanding contribution to quality journalism, ethical reporting, and impactful storytelling over the past year.
Citi FM, which recently celebrated 21 years of relevant radio always, was honoured for its consistency in delivering credible news, thought-provoking talk shows, and innovative public interest programmes that have influenced national discourse and promoted accountability.
Organised annually by the GJA, the awards celebrate excellence in journalism and recognise individuals and media organisations that have demonstrated professionalism and integrity in their work.
This year’s event brought together leading figures from government, the judiciary, civil society, and the media fraternity.
Citi FM’s latest win adds to its growing list of national and international recognitions, further cementing its position as Ghana’s most trusted and respected media outlet.
