NIGERIA – A 27-year-old man identified as Prince Emmanuel is set to be laid to rest today at the cemetery along Aggrey Road in Port Harcourt, following a fatal stabbing incident reportedly linked to a complicated love triangle.
According to accounts circulating within the community, the late Emmanuel was involved in a relationship with a married woman who was living with her husband in Port Harcourt.
Sources claim that the woman’s husband became aware of the affair and confronted Emmanuel after catching the pair together.
Following the confrontation, tensions escalated between the two men. It is alleged that Emmanuel continued to threaten the husband and eventually forced him to leave the area.

However, the situation took another turn when the woman began a separate relationship with yet another young man while still involved with Emmanuel.
Eyewitness accounts indicate that on the day of the fatal incident, Emmanuel saw the woman’s new partner and attempted to chase him away.
In the course of the confrontation, the other man pulled out a knife and stabbed Emmanuel.
He was pronounced dead shortly after the incident.
The tragic event has sparked debate among residents, with many expressing shock over how a romantic dispute escalated into deadly violence.
Authorities are yet to release an official statement detailing the circumstances of the stabbing or the status of the suspect.
