Coach Samuel Boadu has appealed to Aduana FC supporters to continue backing the team despite their difficult start to the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.The Dormaa-based club suffered a late 1-0 defeat to FC Samartex 1996 on Sunday, leaving them without a win after their opening two matches of the campaign.Ebenezer Okrah scored in the fifth minute of added time to hand Samartex all three points at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, extending the visitors unbeaten record at the venue.Aduana had opened the season with a goalless draw against Heart of Lions before suffering their first defeat of the campaign in their first home game on Sunday.The result has increased pressure on Boadus side, but the coach believes the supporters have an important role to play as the team looks to turn its fortunes around.What I would tell them is that we really need them. We love them. We respect them a lot. This is a game. This is a home game. It’s the first game that we lost, but that’s not the end of it all, Boadu said.So they should come in numbers, and we believe that things will change.Boadus appeal comes after Aduana were punished by a late defensive error, with Samartex capitalising on a goalkeeping mistake for Okrahs decisive strike.Samartex, meanwhile, have won both of their opening matches and maintained their unbeaten record in Dormaa.Aduana will now turn their attention to their next league fixture as they seek their first victory of the season.
