Rapper Teephlow has finally explained why he chose award-winning female vocalist Adina over eShun when recording his new single “Forgive”.
In an one-on-one interview with Amansan Krakye on Radio Central(best radio station in Central region as adjudged by GJA), Teephlow revealed he wanted a female artist who has a powerful voice and can flow with the Fante dialect on that song.
Out of curiosity, Amansan Krakye asked the Fante rapper why he didn’t choose eShun since she has these qualities.
“Another thing that comes into consideration when doing a collaboration is connection, availability, relationship. Though eShun is in Cape Coast but that moment we were doing the collaboration I wasn’t having that strong relationship with eShun like I was having with Adina and his team. Sometimes relationship counts a lot, not to say I couldn’t have gotten eShun but the relationship also mattered”, Teephlow revealed.
Teephlow is currently touring with “Forgive” and also nominated for Central Music Awards artistes of the year among other categories.
