Advans Ghana Savings and Loans has rewarded loyal customers of its flagship savings initiative, the ‘Aha Yɛ Dɛ’ promotion, at an award ceremony held at Mallam Atta Market in Accra.

The event recognised customers who demonstrated consistent savings discipline over the course of the multi-month promotion, rewarding not only the highest savers but also those who showed remarkable improvement and commitment in managing their finances
The promotion, designed to encourage regular savings and financial prudence, offered a range of practical household prizes such as microwaves, blenders, irons, television sets and refrigerators, with the overall winner walking away with an all-expenses-paid trip to South Africa.

Speaking at the event, Guillaume Valence, Chief Executive Officer of Advans Savings and Loans, said the promotion underscores the company’s commitment to rewarding customer loyalty, promoting disciplined savings habits and supporting the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
“At Advans, we believe good savings habits are the foundation of financial stability. Every cedi saved matters, not only for its value but as a reflection of effort, planning and trust. This promotion is about rewarding consistency and loyalty, not luck or status.”
“At Advans Ghana, our mission is to empower clients to build financial security for themselves, their families and their businesses. Savings is more than money set aside; it is the foundation for growth, opportunity and resilience. Through this promotion, we celebrate those who are committed to making consistent, responsible financial choices and investing in their future,” Mr. Valence said.
For the grand prize winner, Agnes Naadu, the recognition represents both personal and professional achievement. “I am grateful to God for guiding me on this journey. As a single mother and entrepreneur, this win reflects the value of discipline and consistent effort,” she said.
“My experience with Advans has been positive; they have always corrected course when necessary and supported me along the way,” she added.

Other awardees included Mr. Isaac Larbi, first runner-up, who received a 70-inch TCL television for outstanding savings growth; and Mr. Bernard Oduro, second runner-up, who was awarded a double-decker mini refrigerator.
Seth Micah Nunoo, Chief Business Development Officer, reassured potential customers of the safety and security of their funds, noting that Advans Ghana has been serving MSMEs for over 17 years; and remains committed to fostering financial inclusion.
Barbara Odei, Sales and Distribution Officer, reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to supporting clients in building sustainable financial habits while contributing to broader community growth.
