Former Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has opened up about alleged spiritual attacks she faced during her political career, which she claims were instigated by rivals seeking to harm her through occultic means.
The former Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection revealed that some political opponents tried to use her photograph and footprints in spiritual rituals intended to destroy her.
Speaking at a recent event, Safo said her father, Apostle Kwadwo Safo, founder of the Kristo Asafo Mission, played a crucial role in spiritually protecting her.
She recounted that each time her adversaries attempted to summon her spirit for harm using her name, image, or footprints, her father would mysteriously intervene and block their efforts.
“I remember during my first attempt to contest the Dome-Kwabenya seat, I encountered serious spiritual challenges. My enemies took my photo and footprints to a shrine, hoping to harm me. But each time they tried, my father would spiritually appear and stop them,” she said.
“They made several attempts until the spiritualist told them the person in the photo appeared as a man, not a woman, and that the footprints they brought belonged to someone whose name couldn’t even be mentioned at the shrine,” she added.
