The NPP leader in Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has come under fire after a heated argument with a journalist over what to address him as.
During a report by Channel 1 TV’s Jude Duncan, he referred to the disputed majority leader as the leader of the NPP caucus in Parliament.
Afenyo-Markin, who has always fought against that description amidst the chaos in Parliament, insisting that he’s the majority leader, attacked the journalist for not addressing him properly.
Despite Afenyo Markin’s insistence, the journalist did not change his description,
Social media users praised the journalist for his ability to stand his ground against political bullying.
Afenyo-Markin meanwhile, was criticized for being pompous and focusing on the wrong things as a leader.
