Akufo Addo led gov’t finally gives Apostle Safo Kantanka 10 years tax holiday (Read Why)


Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo, president of Ghana has finally lifted One major challenge of the vehicles manufactured and assembled by Apostle Dr Ing. Kwadwo Safo’s Kantanka Automobile involving duties paid on vehicle parts imported into Ghana.

The government of the country have finally given Apostle Safo Kantanka ten years tax exemption to operate freely from customs and other minor taxes paid to the government when clearing certain parts of the vehicles from the ports.

The Chief Executive Officer of Kantanka Automobile Limited, Kwadwo Safo Jnr, for the past two years has been  appealing  to the  Government to provide policy guidelines for the manufacturing or assembly of cars in Ghana.

Kwadwo Safo Jnr announced this amazing news at the Kantanka Group Awards and Dinner night which was scheduled at his residence in Dome Kwabenya, last Tuesday, 7th of January 2019.

This new directive from the government which will take some time to be implemented will help in the growth of Kantanka Automobile Company seeking to enter or grow in the vehicle manufacturing sector.

Thus, cars manufactured in Ghana by Kantanka Automobile charged with same duty and levies as vehicles manufactured outside and imported into Ghana will be thing of the past.
