The leader of the Movement for Change, John Alan Kyerematen has set out to launch a youth employment summit.
The purpose of the summit is to educate, discuss, and empower the youth about the dynamics of the job market and entrepreneurial space.
The former Trades and Industry Minister in the Akufo-Addo government revealed that, the youth are the force that will drive the economy of Ghana to where it needs to be.
In an X (formerly Twitter post), leader of the Butterfly Movement wrote, “As President of Ghana, I will lead the most ambitious job creation plan in the history of our nation.”
He, therefore, underscored the need to empower the youth through entrepreneurial symposia and other job-creation-related programs, which will bequeath to the youth the ability to create and manage their wealth.
“My policies will create jobs and put cash in the pockets of the youth.”
As the December 2024 general elections draw near, Alan Kyeremanteng has, for the past few weeks, been interacting with market women and business owners in major market centres across the country to discuss their challenges as far as their line of business is concerned.
In changing the tempo for his campaign tour, the convener of the business and industrialization campaign has targeted at giving the youth financial literacy in order for the youth to become economically independent.
