Amanda Anisimova continued her impressive 2025 season by winning the China Open, securing her second WTA 1,000 title with a hard-fought victory over Linda Noskova. The young American showcased her resilience and skill in a fluctuating three-set match that ended 6-0, 2-6, 6-2 in her favor.

Anisimova, runner-up at Wimbledon and the US Open,  delivered a strong start by dominating the first set against Noskova. The Czech player, making her first appearance in a WTA 1,000 final, struggled to find her rhythm, managing just 12 points in a 23-minute opening set that saw her suffer a ‘bagel’, losing a set without winning a game.

Noskova bounced back in the second set, raising her level significantly to take it 6-2 and force a decisive third set. The momentum briefly shifted as Noskova tried to dictate the match, but Anisimova regained control with her aggressive play and composed shot-making.

In the final set, Anisimova asserted her dominance once more, breaking Noskova’s serve and maintaining her lead to close out the match 6-2. The win marks a significant achievement for Anisimova, reaffirming her status as one of the rising stars on the WTA Tour.

This victory not only adds to Anisimova’s growing list of accomplishments but also cements her strong form heading into the final months of the season, as she continues to build on a breakthrough year.
