Madam Elizabeth, the mother of missing Anita Boakye, with tears tickling through her cheeks has given a blow-by-blow account of how her daughter got missing.
Speaking to the Ghana Police, the mother of the 32-year-old Anita Boakye disclosed that her daughter left Kumasi to visit her husband in Accra, adding that, going for a medical check-up was also part of the reasons she traveled to Accra.
According to the mother, after her daughter had completed all her tasks, she, on February 26 ordered an Uber to pick her from her hotel and take her to the VIP station, where she was to pick up a bus from Accra to Kumasi.
The mother made it known that the Toyota Vitz driven by Mr. Agyemang Prempeh and with registration number 8848-24 picked Anita Boakye from her hotel, Band B Apartment, but failed to send her to her destination.
Providing the contact of the driver as 025635212, the mother stated that neither her daughter nor the Uber driver could be reached, stating that she has not heard from her daughter since that day.
