Andre Ayew has shared his excitement after helping NAC Breda secure successive victories in the Eredivisie as the club battles to avoid relegation.

The Ghana international played the full 90 minutes in Saturday’s week 24 encounter against FC Volendam at the Rat Verlegh Stadion, where NAC edged a narrow win to boost their survival hopes. The result marked the club’s second straight league triumph — a feat they last achieved in December 2024, prior to Ayew’s arrival.

Since joining during the winter transfer window, the former Black Stars captain has featured in seven matches, providing experience and leadership despite yet to register a goal or assist.

Following the latest victory, Ayew took to Instagram to celebrate the team’s renewed momentum, describing the atmosphere as electric and urging focus ahead of their next fixture against Telstar.

NAC Breda currently sit just above the relegation zone with 22 points from 24 matches, as they aim to build on their improved form in the closing stages of the campaign.
