One more suspect has been arrested in connection with the alleged murder of 38-year-old Immigration Officer, Stephen King Amoah.
The Adabraka District Court on Friday adjourned the case to September 4, 2025, as investigations continue. Meanwhile, one other suspect remains at large.
In court, both the prime suspect, Bright Aweh, and the second accused, Thomas Ziga, also known as Nii Dzaase, were present. Counsel for Ziga, Gordon Aboagye, pleaded that his client, who appeared hurt and limping, be sent to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital instead of the Police Hospital where he has already been treated twice without improvement.
But prosecutors opposed the request, insisting the Police Hospital is well equipped to handle the accused’s condition. The judge ruled that if the defense insists on a transfer, they must file a formal application.
The case will resume on September 4 for further investigations.
