Mr Daniel Chartey, the Municipal Director of NCCE, urged political activists to demonstrate a high sense of maturity by refraining from all negative acts in their day to day political engagements not to undermine the credibility of the electoral process.

He asked them to be decorous in their utterances and actions to avert needless tensions for a smooth electioneering process.

“If we fail to behave ourselves we will remain as babies in our democratic journey,” he added.

Mr Ofosu Anim, West Akim Municipal Police Commander, entreated political actors to always inform the police at least five days before organising outdoor events for the police to prepare adequately to protect them and others.

Ms Sara Gyamfuah Akuoko, West Akim Municipal Electoral Commission Officer, caution politicians and political actors against defacing of party posters, snatching of ballot boxes, vote buying, use of hate speech, and the spread of misinformation and disinformation.
