Ghana Premier League giants, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, have announced the signing of former Ashantigold midfielder, Abdul Latif Anabila, on three-year deal as a free agent.
This puts to bed months of speculation about the 26-year-old being linked with a move to the record Ghana Premier League holders.
The Porcupine Warriors confirmed the capture of the Black Stars B midfielder on the early hours of Saturday October 17, 2020.
Kotoko ina brief statement on social media said “the Former Ashantigold SC midfielder joins us on a 3-year contract.”
The former Club African player will join a list of high-profile signings Kotoko have made this transfer window, among Emmanuel Keyeke, Yusif Mubarak and Razak Abalora.
They will hope the former New Edubiase United midfielder adds his experience in Africa to their team as they seek to make a mark in next season’s CAF Champions League.
Since joining Ashgold in 2018, Anabila has played 20 matches for the Obuasi-based club in the two truncated seasons for COVID and the number 12 expose.
