Asante Kotoko have issued a firm warning to sections of the media and supporters over what it describes as deliberate attacks on players and coaches disguised as analysis.In a statement released on Wednesday, April 16, and signed by Communications Director Samuel Sarfo Duku, the club accused some media houses and journalists of pushing an agenda to destabilise the team.These calculated attacks on our players and coaches, dressed up as analysis, are nothing short of an agendum to sow disunity and sabotage the hard work being done at all levels of the club, the statement read.The Porcupine Warriors, who are currently tied at the top of the Ghana Premier League table with Bibiani Gold Stars on 47 points, are preparing for a midweek clash against Accra Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium.Kotoko warned that it will not hesitate to take legal action against individuals or outlets that engage in defamation or unethical conduct.The club also cautioned some of its own supporters against conduct that could harm team morale.Asante Kotoko will not tolerate attemptssubtle or overtto destabilise this club, it said, while assuring fans of the teams focus and determination to win the double.
