The mother of Penamang, the Adventist student who was shot by her colleague has exposed Ghanaian politician, Hon. Asenso Boakye.

The mother and other family members appeared at the Twedie district court earlier yesterday, April 16, 2025.
Speaking to the media, the mother continued to beg for support from affluent Ghanaians.
When asked why she would still beg for help when MP for Bantana, Hon. Asenso Boakye had already promised to help, the mother said she believes the politician said that for the screen.
According to her, they were in a state of gay when the politician promised to help them financially, however, they have come to realize what the politician said was a mere promise.
She noted that they have not heard from the MP again ever since he promised to support them.
She added that they have tried their best possible to reach out to the politician but all to no avail.
