Augustine Sefa handed one-year contract extension at Kotoko
Augustine Sefa has received a contract extension at Kotoko.
The right-back was handed another opportunity after the arrival of Coach Maxwell Konadu.
Sefa was one of the few players who were on their way out of the Club following the expiration of his contract.
The Porcupine Warriors were reluctant on renewing his contract but for Maxwell Konadu to express his willingness to work with the experienced full-back.
The former Medeama SC and Ashanti Gold defender will be serving as a back-up for new signing Christopher Nettey who looks the preferred choice for Coach Konadu.
Kotoko got off to a winning start in the Ghana Premier League after beating Techiman Eleven Wonders 1-0 over the weekend.
They travel to Accra to face Legon Cities FC on Friday in match-day two.
