Andre Ayew and Qatari champions Al Sadd have agreed to part ways after a year and a half.
The Ghana captain joined Al Sadd as a free agent in 2021 after leaving English side Swansea City.
The 33-year-old signed a two-year contract that was set to expire in June of this year, but according to Al Sadd, an agreement has been reached for the contract to be terminated.
“Al-Sadd SC has reached an agreement with Andre Ayew to terminate his contract with the club by mutual consent,” the club said.
