Beach Soccer Premier League: Layoca,Cheetah tied on points while Mighty Warriors stay on top in Zone Two

The Beach Soccer Premier League continued this weekend with Zone One matches played at the Laboma Beach Soccer Arena while the Keta Emancipation Beach hosted matches in Zone Two.

Havedzi-based Mighty Warriors continued their impressive run in the Zone 2 league by beating struggling Tegbi Ocean Stars by a 4 goal margin to maintain their 6 point lead at the top of the zone.

Third-place Vodza Iron Breakers also defeated three-time league winner Sunset Sports 4-3 in a hard-fought game to take all three points in their crunch game played on Sunday.

Last year’s winners, Ada Assurance, advanced to third position in the league standings after earning a point against Kedzi Miracles BSC in the final game of Sunday’s round of matches.

Following three points each from their respective games on Saturday, Cheetah BSC and Layoca BSC are currently tied at 31 points apiece in Zone 1.

The boys from La scored the highest number of goals in week 12 when they beat Dansoman BSC by 10 goals to 4.

The Sea Sharks defeated Teshie United 6-2 to get back on track. In the other Zone 1 League game, Nungua BSC defeated Okere Rangers 8-1 to get three points as well.
