Black Princesses move camp from Cape Coast to Accra ahead of FIFA U-20 World Cup

The Black Princesses, Ghana’s under-20 women’s national team, will move their training camp from Cape Coast to Accra today, Monday, August 12, 2024, as they finalise their preparations for the FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup.

The team has been rigorously training in Cape Coast since June 27, 2024, aiming to hone their skills and strategies for the crucial tournament.

The move to Accra marks the final phase of their intense preparation. Upon their arrival, the Black Princesses will engage in a friendly match at the Accra Sports Stadium. This match, scheduled for Monday, August 12, 2024, is expected to be a significant test of their readiness and an opportunity to boost their morale before heading to the global stage in Colombia.

The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup is set to commence in Colombia from Saturday, August 31, to Sunday, September 22, 2024.
