Ghana’s senior women’s national team, the Black Queens, have officially opened camp in Sharjah ahead of the Pink Ladies Cup, with 25 players fully fit and ready for selection.

The team held their first training session at the Al-Hamriyah Sports Club in a focused yet intense atmosphere, as the entire squad participated in what marked a positive start to preparations for the tournament.

The technical team had the advantage of working with a near-complete squad, enabling them to conduct full tactical drills, competitive in-house exercises and detailed positional sessions. The comprehensive turnout offered the coaches an early opportunity to assess combinations and fine-tune strategy.

Proceedings began with warm-up routines and conditioning drills supervised by Athletics Coach Jordan Daitey before transitioning into structured tactical formations and ball-possession exercises.

With morale high and early preparations progressing smoothly, the Black Queens are determined to build momentum and sharpen their competitive edge as camping continues in Sharjah ahead of the upcoming Pink Ladies Cup challenge.
