The are expected to wrap up their training camp in the United Arab Emirates after their final Pink Ladies Cup fixture against Tanzania on Friday, following confirmation that the 2026 Womens Africa Cup of Nations has been postponed.Confederation of African Football announced on Thursday that the tournament, to be hosted by Morocco, will no longer take place between 17 March and 3 April 2026 as originally planned.The continental competition has instead been moved to 25 July to 16 August 2026 after consultations with FIFA and other stakeholders.For the Black Queens, the development comes during a preparatory tour in the UAE where the team has been competing in the Pink Ladies Cup.Ghana has enjoyed an impressive run so far, recording emphatic 4-0 victories over Hong Kong and Russia, results that have boosted confidence within the squad.However, the teams departure from Sharjah remains uncertain after authorities suspended air transport in parts of the region amid escalating tensions.Players and officials are currently awaiting clearance and travel arrangements that will allow them to safely leave the country after Fridays match against Tanzania.Despite the logistical challenge, the camp has provided valuable preparation time for the Black Queens as they continue to rebuild momentum following their strong showing at the 2024 Womens AFCON, where Ghana finished third in Morocco.
