The Black Starlets will step up preparations for the 2026 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations with a double-header of friendly matches on Wednesday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Ghana’s U-17 side will first face Attram De Visser at 8:00am before taking on Golden Kick FC at 10:00am, in two matches designed to test the team’s readiness ahead of the continental tournament.
The friendlies form part of a structured build-up program as the technical team intensifies efforts to fine-tune tactics, assess player combinations and improve match fitness. With the 2026 U-17 AFCON approaching, the coaching staff is keen to evaluate the squad’s depth and competitive sharpness under match conditions.
The Starlets have already played a series of preparatory games against True Democracy FC, Na God FC, Port City FC and Semper Fi FC as part of their ongoing training schedule.
Wednesday’s fixtures are expected to offer further insight into the team’s progress as Ghana continues its quest to make a strong impression at the upcoming youth championship.
