England, one of Ghana’s opponents at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, have announced two international friendlies in June as part of their preparations for the tournament.

The Football Association confirmed on February 11, 2026, that the Three Lions will travel to the United States for a warm-up camp in south Florida. The camp is intended to help the squad acclimatize to the summer heat and playing conditions expected during the competition.

As part of the camp, England will face New Zealand on Saturday, June 6, with the venue likely to be in Tampa, Orlando, or Miami. They will then take on Costa Rica on Wednesday, June 10, in another fixture aimed at sharpening the team ahead of the tournament.

Prior to their trip to the United States, England are scheduled to play two friendlies at Wembley Stadium in March, hosting Uruguay on March 27 and Japan on March 31.

At the World Cup, England have been drawn in Group L alongside Ghana, Croatia and Panama. The meeting between the Three Lions and the Black Stars is expected to be one of the standout matches of the group stage.
