The Black Stars of Ghana will resume their 2026 World Cup qualifiers in October 2025.
Ghana recorded wins in their two games against Mali and Central African Republic in the Matchday three and four games respectively.
Otto Addo’s side travelled to Bamako to shock the Eagles 2-1 on June 6. Kamory Doumbia put the home side ahead but Ernest Nuamah and Jordan Ayew ensured the Black Stars secured the win.
In the game against Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Stadium on Monday night, Ghana recorded a hard-fought 4-3 win.
Jordan Ayew broke the deadlock for Ghana but Loius Mofouta struck in a brace in the first half to end the first part 2-1.
However, after recess, Jordan Ayew grabbed a brace with Abdul Fatawu Issahaku also scoring. Mofouta scored a brilliant free kick to also grab a hat trick to end the game 4-3.
The win mean Ghana now sit top of Group I with nine points after four games. Otto Addo and his charges will now plan for their upcoming games next year where they will be hosted by Central African Republic in the Matchday five games.
