Bofoakwa Tano board chairman Yaw Boateng Gyan has expressed his belief that clinching the FA Cup would pave the way for success in African competitions, attributing their recent semi-final triumph to a higher power.
Speaking exclusively to Akoma FM after their 2-1 win against Dreams FC, Gyan confidently stated that they are poised to surprise Ghanaians with their performance.
The Bono side secured the victory in the semi-finals against the defending champions and are aiming to beat Nsoatreman in the final.
“We acknowledge God’s hand in getting us this far. Our goal is to take home the trophy and perhaps even participate in Africa. We will undoubtedly cross the river when we arrive, and many Ghanaians will be shocked by the way we will present ourselves.”
Yaw Gyan is confident that if Bofoakwa Tano wins the FA Cup, they will overtake Dreams FC’s superb run in the Confederations Cup come next season.
“Right now, our only goal is to win the FA Cup, and we will accept defeat with grace if it occurs. In the event that we triumph, the Lord will open our path and take us to Africa.”
“We’re going to surpass Dreams FC and make Ghana and ourselves proud.” He concluded.
