Guinean boxer Ibrahima Diallo Jr. has expressed excitement ahead of his return to Ghana, where he is set to feature on the Legacy Rise Sports bill on Friday, April 10, at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

Diallo, who defeated Sampson Segbedzi at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium last year, will face Ghana’s Godson Amuzu in a WBA Africa welterweight title defence. The undefeated fighter, boasting 16 professional bouts, has been sharpening up at the Will Power Boxing Gym before completing his final preparations at the Bukom venue.

Speaking ahead of the fight, Diallo praised Ghana’s rich boxing culture and the warm reception he continues to receive from fans.

“Bukom is a boxing destination, and I feel great to fight here. It adds to my experience and exposure,” he said.

The Guinean also paid tribute to African leaders Ahmed Sékou Touré and Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, highlighting their enduring legacies of unity and leadership.

Diallo urged fans to turn up in their numbers, promising an exciting contest. He also commended Legacy Rise Sports Promotions for organizing quality boxing events, as anticipation builds for the high-stakes showdown in Accra.
