Female entrepreneurs in Ghana are set to gain practical digital and AI skills to grow their businesses through the Business Booster Workshop Series, organized by DigiVibe, a project of the AFOS Foundation, in partnership with the Women Entrepreneurs Rise Network (WERise).

The workshops, scheduled for 4th March 2026 in Greater Accra and 11th March 2026 in the Ashanti Region, will host 200 women-led micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), 100 per region, for hands-on training focused on digital tools, AI and business resilience.

Participants will engage in hands-on, interactive sessions designed to equip them with essential digital and business skills. The workshops will cover digital marketing, including social media, SEO and AI-powered tools, as well as digital finance, such as mobile money, digital accounting and budgeting solutions.

Entrepreneurs will also learn how to apply AI in business operations, including automation, customer service and data management, alongside cybersecurity awareness to protect their businesses online.

In addition, the sessions will focus on business resilience and growth strategies, practical digital skills for efficiency and profitability and leveraging e-commerce and technology to expand market reach. The program emphasizes practical application, enabling participants to immediately integrate these tools into their daily business operations while creating opportunities for networking and collaboration across regions.

The initiative aligns with DigiVibe’s mission to strengthen digital inclusion and innovation among women entrepreneurs in Ghana. It is supported by the Special Initiative “Decent Work for a Just Transition”, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through sequa gGmbH.

WERise, the project’s key partner, is dedicated to empowering female entrepreneurs through capacity building, strategic partnerships, and access to growth opportunities. AFOS Foundation focuses on vocational education and private sector engagement, fostering sustainable collaboration between educational institutions, business associations, and enterprises.

The workshops run from 9:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m  and interested entrepreneurs can register via DigiVibe, AFOS Foundation and WERise social media channels and websites.

By equipping women entrepreneurs with digital and AI skills, the Business Booster Workshop Series aims to enhance business efficiency, visibility and profitability, ensuring female-led MSMEs in Ghana remain competitive in a digital-driven economy.
