Ghana Premier League giants, Asante Kotoko have been drawn against FC San Pedro of Cote d’Ivoire in the 2019/20 CAF Confederation Cup playoff following a draw held in Cairo on Wednesday.
The Porcupines will be hosting the Ivorian side in the first leg to be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on October 27 while the return leg comes off a week later in Cote d’ Ivoire.
Asante Kotoko are the only Ghanaian club representing in the CAF Confederation Cup after they dropped from the Champions League after they were beaten on aggregate by Tunisian giants Etoile du Sahel.
They will be seeking to make the Money Zone again after breaking an 11-year jinx last season.
