Cardi B has confirmed she is expecting her fourth child, her first with NFL star Stefon Diggs, in a nterview that blended vulnerability with excitement.
Speaking on CBS Mornings, the Grammy-winning rapper revealed that the pregnancy comes at a high point in both her personal and professional life.
She described herself as feeling “very strong, very powerful,” juggling the demands of her upcoming album ‘Am I The Drama?’ and a major arena tour while preparing to welcome a new baby.
The 32-year-old artist shared that she chose to keep the news private until now, ensuring her health and career plans were aligned before making it public.
“I wanted to be in the right space before I said anything,” she explained, hinting that even her parents had not yet been informed at the time of the announcement.
Cardi praised Diggs, wide receiver for the Houston Texans, for being a steady source of support throughout her journey. She admitted to recently experiencing moments of anxiety, but credited him with helping her feel grounded and secure.
“He makes me feel safe,” she said, adding that his reassurance has allowed her to focus on both motherhood and music.
This will be Cardi’s fourth child—she shares three with her ex-husband, rapper Offset. Diggs, meanwhile, has a daughter from a previous relationship. Their new baby is expected to arrive before Cardi embarks on her Little Miss Drama tour in February 2026.
In true Cardi fashion, she ended her announcement with humour, urging fans to stream and buy her new album, joking: “I need to buy Pampers and diapers.”
The reveal has set social media alight, with fans celebrating the couple’s news and applauding Cardi’s openness about balancing family, fame, and personal growth.
