Cardi B’s latest internet feud isn’t with a fellow rapper or an ex-lover. Instead, the “Be Careful” hitmaker inadvertently picked a fight with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, stemming from a remark she made this week on the opening date of her Little Miss Drama Tour.
“If ICE come in here, we gon’ jump they asses,” she told the crowd at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert (Riverside County) on Wednesday, Feb. 11. “I’ve got some bear mace in the back! They ain’t taking my fans.”
The moment came midway through the show after she asked if there were any Guatemalans or Mexicans in the venue, and offered up her best Selena impression. She then broke into her 2018 hit “I Like It,” which features Super Bowl LX halftime headliner Bad Bunny.
The Afro-Latina’s reference to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement follows an influx of nationwide raids that led to the killings of two U.S. citizens in Minneapolis, Renee Good and Alex Pretti.

“As long as she doesn’t drug and rob our agents, we’ll consider that an improvement over her past behavior,” the DHS snapped back via X on Thursday, Feb. 12.
Cardi B responded hours later on the platform, drawing attention to the government’s avoidance of addressing the alleged crimes of Jeffrey Epstein.
“If we talking about drugs let’s talk about Epstein and friends drugging underage girls to rape them,” she wrote. “Why yall don’t wanna talk about the Epstein files?”
The DHS didn’t respond as of Thursday.
The online chatter comes after Cardi B attended and performed at a handful of Super Bowl partiesin the Bay Area last week, including a surprise appearance at a private Don Julio party hosted at Mission District Argentinian steakhouse Lolinda.
She even made a surprise appearance during Bad Bunny’s halftime show performance, dancing alongside actors Pedro Pascal, Jessica Alba and Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Young Miko.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper was also at Super Bowl LX to support her boyfriend, New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs. The two sparked breakup rumors after unfollowing each other on Instagram shortly after the big game.
Cardi B’s 35-date tour is set to stop in cities across North America through April.
