Celine Dion has announced her long-awaited return to live performance, revealing plans for a 10-show concert series in Paris this fall.
The shows, scheduled across September and October, were unveiled on her 58th birthday and follow days of speculation sparked by promotional displays across the French capital. “This year, I will receive the best gift of my life. I will have the chance to come and see you and to sing for you again in Paris starting this autumn,” she said in an interview on France 2. The announcement was also marked by a light display at the Eiffel Tower, with ticket pre-sales opening April 7 and general sales on April 10.
Dion, one of the best-selling artists of all time, rose to global prominence in the late 1990s with “My Heart Will Go On,” the iconic theme from Titanic. Her career was abruptly paused in 2022 after she revealed she had been diagnosed with Stiff‑Person Syndrome, a rare condition that causes severe muscle spasms and left her unable to perform. The illness forced her to postpone and ultimately cancel her “Courage World Tour,” raising uncertainty about her future on stage.

Her upcoming Paris residency marks a significant milestone in her recovery and return to music. Dion briefly reemerged in 2024 during the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, delivering a moving rendition of Edith Piaf’s “Hymne à l’amour.” The performance reignited hope among fans worldwide that the singer would eventually resume live shows—an expectation now confirmed with her highly anticipated comeback.
