Ghanaian prolific and renowned hiplife artiste known as Michael Kwabena Okyere Darko, aka Obrafour the”The Rap Sofo”says the emergence of the Ghanaian Music awardee organizers called Charter House, since its inception twenty years ago has done a lot of harm to musicians both home and abroad.
The lyrical rapper, who rose to fame with the release of his much-acclaimed album titled ‘Pae Mu Ka’ in 1999, has blasted the selfishness of Charter House causing the gun pulling incident that happened at the 20th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Speaking with Amansan Krakye on Central Dryve live on Radio Cental, the artiste revealed that what happened between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, I don’t blame any of them but Charter House.
“To be very honest, since they started organizing awards for artistes 20 years ago, if they had done that with sincerity, we would have moved forward. Rather, they have done a lot of harm to us musicians due to their selfishness,” the rapper said.
“All that the organizers of the event think about is about their monetary gains. They do not have the welfare of the musicians at heart. They are greedy people”, he said.
