DEFENDERS

Defender Andy Yiadom was a full timer for Reading in their 2-1 loss to Coventry City.

Baba Rahman did not make Chelsea’s squad for their 2-0 win over Arsenal.

Benson Anang played 90 minutes for Zilina when they beat Senica 3-0 on Sunday in Slovakia.

Bordeaux and Angers shared the spoils in a 1-1 drawn game. Left-back Gideon Mensah played for Bordeaux.

Alexander Djiku missed Strasbourg’s 1-1 draw with Troyes due to suspension.

Columbus Crew suffered their 5th straight loss after falling 2-1 to visiting Seattle Sounders. Jonathan Mensah captained Crew in the game.

MIDFIELDERS

Wakaso Mubarak was not in action because his Shenzhen side were not in action.

Ghana midfielder Iddrisu Baba played 70 minutes for Real Mallorca in their 1-0 away win over Alaves in the La Liga on Saturday.

Crystal Palace and Brentford drew 0-0. Tariqe Fosu Henry could not make the Brentford squad for the game.

Thomas Partey missed Arsenal’s 2-0 loss to Chelsea due to injury.

In France’s Ligue 2, midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey was sent off while in action for Amiens in their 0-0 draw with Sochaux.

Injured midfielder Kudus Mohammed watched Ajax’s 1-1 draw with FC Twente from the screens.

Majeed Ashimeru was not involved in action because Anderlecht’s game was postponed.

ATTACKERS

Black Stars forward Joel Fameyeh suffered an injury and was replaced after 26 minutes by Orenburg in their 1-0 home win over Akron Togliatti.

Black Stars winger Samuel Owusu lasted the entire 90 minutes for Al Feiha when they drew 1-1 with Al-Fateh.

Kamaldeen Sulemana came off the bench in the 43rd minute to replace Jeremy Doku when Stade Rennais beat Nantes 1-0 on Sunday.

Skipper Andre Ayew was not involved in action because the Qatari Star League has not started yet.

Crystal Palace and Brentford drew 0-0. Jordan Ayew came off the bench to play 22 minutes for Palace.
