Citi FM and Channel One TV’s Heritage Caravan returns for its 10th anniversary edition, kicking off the stations’ Heritage Month celebrations in March.
Scheduled from March 1 to March 8, 2026, the week-long cultural and tourism expedition will see participants travel across 14 regions in eight days, offering an immersive journey through Ghana’s rich history, traditions, and natural beauty.
The caravan will commence in the Greater Accra Region, make its way through the Northern and Upper East Regions, and conclude in the Western Region, while stopping at several iconic destinations along the route.
Over the past decade, the Heritage Caravan has grown into one of Ghana’s most impactful domestic tourism initiatives, designed to promote national unity, cultural education, and appreciation for the country’s diverse heritage.
As a Citi FM and Channel One TV initiative, the project has consistently served as the official curtain-raiser for Heritage Month, encouraging Ghanaians to explore and celebrate their cultural identity.
Participants in the 2026 edition can expect non-stop adventure, breathtaking landscapes, and deep cultural engagements, including interactions with local communities, traditional performances, and visits to historic and natural landmarks.
Organisers say the anniversary edition will be a celebration of both the journey so far and the vibrant culture that defines Ghana.
As Heritage Month approaches, Heritage Caravan 2026 stands as a powerful reminder of the value of storytelling through travel, offering a unique platform to experience the sights, sounds, and spirit of Ghana, one region at a time.
