Richard Asare Baffour, lawyer for jailed former fetish priestess turned evangelist, Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, says he has not yet verified reports that his client’s husband, Pastor Angel Asiamah, has been kicked out of their home.
Speaking in an interview on Adom FM on Friday, July 4, he said he was unaware of the rumour and had not spoken to Pastor Asiamah that morning due to media interviews.
“I haven’t heard anything about that. I’ve not been able to speak to him today because of the interviews I’m attending. I’ll meet him before we go and visit Agradaa,” he stated.
The lawyer’s comments follow social media claims that Agradaa’s brother, known as One Gig, had taken control of her house and allegedly locked out Pastor Asiamah shortly after her sentencing.
Nana Agradaa was handed a 15-year jail term by the Accra Circuit Court on Thursday, July 3, after being found guilty of defrauding by false pretence and promoting charlatanic activities.
