A university class representative has been arrested after course mates accused him of inflating the price of a compulsory course material and misappropriating funds.
According to reports circulating online, the class rep reportedly sold a book meant to cost 3,500 NAIRA ( GHS 29) to students for 8,500 NAIRA (GHS 80)
Suspicion grew among the classmates after he was noticed to have upgraded his phone from an iPhone XR to an iPhone 16 within a short period.
The development prompted some course mates to report the matter to the authorities, leading to his arrest.
