Popular Ghanaian movie actress and producer Yvonne Nelson has shared a GoFundMe account on her page to seek financial assistance for her colleague Beverly Afaglo.
Bevelyn Afaglo’s house was reported to have caught fire a few days ago where she lost everything. The house and its properties were burnt to ashes. The news of the fire outbreak was made public by the actress.
According to Beverly, the fire kept blazing for four hours when they were still waiting for the fire service to come to their aid. She however stated that there were no casualties after the fire was put off by the fire service. She stated that her passport, clothes, shoes, bags, wigs, jewelry. perfumes, furniture, and the clothes of her kids were all burnt into ashes.
She wrote on Instagram, “My house burnt down to ashes within 4hrs …… Everything gone, my passports, clothes, shoes, bags, wigs, jewelry, perfumes, my furniture, my kitchen everything gone. My kids’ room and all their clothes everything is gone. I’m left with what I wore out that’s all. Thank God there are no casualties but where do I start from?
To support the actress financially, actress Yvonne Nelson shared a GoFundMe account which was created for Beverly in order to get help from the public. The target is at least $20,000.
However, social media users have reacted differently to the post shared by Yvonne Nelson.
