Nigerian musician Davido has jumped into the ongoing discussion surrounding Anthony Joshua’s recent fight with Francis Ngannou. In response to Joshua’s knockout victory over Ngannou, Davido took to the Instagram comments of Canadian rapper Drake to playfully tease him.
Drake, known for his penchant for sports betting, had reportedly placed a substantial wager of $615,000 on Ngannou to emerge victorious against Nigeria’s Anthony Joshua. However, the fight took a surprising turn when British-Nigerian boxer Joshua displayed his skill and dominance, knocking out Ngannou in the second round.
Following Joshua’s triumph, Davido couldn’t resist poking fun at Drake’s unsuccessful bet against his fellow Nigerian.
Davido ribbed the Canadian rapper for backing the wrong horse and losing what amounted to nearly a billion naira.
