Multiple award-winning Ghanaian gospel musician Diana Hamilton has successfully hosted the 2026 edition of her annual worship concert, Awake Experience with Diana Hamilton, in Accra.

The highly anticipated event took place on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Christ Temple East, drawing thousands of worshippers from across the country. Held under the theme “Dwell,” inspired by Psalm 91:1, the atmosphere was charged with deep worship, praise, and spiritual renewal.

The night opened with a powerful ministration from Siisi Baidoo, setting a reverent tone for the evening. He was followed by an energetic praise session led by Nana Yaw Ofori-Atta.

South African gospel powerhouse Ntokozo Mbambo then ushered the congregation into an intense moment of spirit-led worship, drawing the packed auditorium into unified adoration.

The atmosphere deepened when veteran gospel minister Elder Mireku mounted the stage, delivering timeless worship songs that moved the entire crowd. The legendary Tagoe Sisters also thrilled patrons with their classic hits, taking many down memory lane.

The defining moment of the night came when Diana Hamilton finally stepped onto the stage to thunderous applause. Waves of excitement swept through the auditorium as she delivered powerful worship songs and back-to-back hits including “Adom,” “Awurade Ye,” “Mo Ne Yo,” “Yehowa Bebree,” and “Me Nyankopon Papa Bi,” among others.

Midway through her performance, she introduced one of her most celebrated songs, “Aha Y3” (translated as “This is a Good Place”). What followed became the emotional peak of the night.

She was joined on stage by Ntokozo Mbambo and Elder Mireku. Standing side by side, the trio exchanged verses before lifting the chorus together in powerful harmony. Ntokozo’s soulful depth blended seamlessly with Elder Mireku’s seasoned tone, while Diana anchored the performance with commanding grace.

When they sang “Aha Y3,” the congregation responded instantly. The entire auditorium echoed the words in unison, turning the song into a declaration of faith. Hands were lifted; some danced, while others closed their eyes in deep worship.

As the concert neared its peak, Diana steered the gathering into an explosive praise segment. The intensified rhythm sparked an immediate response, with many rising from their seats to dance and celebrate at the foot of the stage. What began as a seated congregation quickly became a unified expression of exuberant worship.

The event attracted several gospel musicians, including Esther Piesie, Ohemaa Mercy, Perez Musik, Abena Serwaa Ophelia, Diana Hopeson, Stella Aba Seal, Kofi Owusu Peprah, Mavis Asante, Cecy Twum, and ACP Kofi Sarpong, among others.
