Hearts of Oak head coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, has described his sides clash with Vision FC as a closely contested encounter that could have gone either way following their narrow defeat.

The Phobians suffered a late setback, conceding in the closing stages to lose 1-0 in their Matchday 29 fixture on Saturdaya result that dents their title push as they missed the chance to close the gap on the leagues frontrunners.

Reflecting on the performance, Dramani insisted the game lacked rhythm despite both sides showing intent.

It was an open game, and either side could win, he said. Naturally, we are disappointed because we came here aiming for victory, and when you dont get the result you want, its only normal to feel that way.

He further suggested the nature of the contest made it difficult for either side to assert control.

Im not sure there was a team that truly deserved to win this game. There were many factors that affected our ability to settle, and we needed some flow, but there was no flow in the game, he added.

The defeat leaves Hearts of Oak in third place on the table, now seven points behind leaders Medeama SC with five matches remaining.

Attention now turns to their next fixture against Karela United, as the Rainbow Club look to bounce back and keep their fading title hopes alive.
