US-based Ghanaian DJ, DJ PC, has gained recognition for his incredible turntable skills.
The prestigious Ghana DJ Awards organizers have honoured him with the coveted title of Best International DJ (Ghanaian) at this year’s event held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Accra.
The award scheme, which sets out to celebrate Ghanaian DJs who have distinguished themselves in various fields of DJ-ing, saw DJ PC being celebrated for his contribution to the agenda of pushing Ghanaian music to the world.
To win the enviable accolade, DJ PC had to see off stiff competition from some great DJs, including DJ Bluey of the UK, DJ Abena of Belgium, and DJ Fiifi of the UK, among others.
Reacting to the honour conferred on him, DJ PC thanked the Ghana DJ Awards organisers including Mercury Quaye, his family, DJ Steve, DJ Phinaj and Becky Tweneboah Darko for their support on his journey.
While he is enamoured by the honour done him, DJ PC believes that a greater responsibility has been placed on him to continue to push Ghana music and make it one of the most globally recognised brands of music.
For now, he is eternally grateful that his mission to spread Ghanaian music around the world has received a boost.
