Ghanaian comedian Funny Face has shared an uplifting message for Ghanaians, especially those facing difficult times. During an event at The Holy Spirit church, Funny Face opened up about his personal struggles and how he overcame them with faith. He revealed that he had been through years of hardship, even reaching points where he considered ending it all. However, he credits his survival and recovery to God.
Funny Face encouraged anyone going through suffering to believe that there is hope, using his own journey as proof. “If God has brought me through all of this, I can assure you there is a God,” he said. He recounted his darkest moments, including driving at top speed from Kasoa to Winneba and Cape Coast in a desperate attempt to crash and end his life.
Having faced challenges like time in psychiatric hospitals and prison, Funny Face emphasized that his survival is a testament to the power of faith. He urged others to hold on, saying, “If you don’t believe in God, use my story as an example to know that there is a God. With God, we can overcome our struggles and succeed.”
