Former General Secretary of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Atik Mohammed, has expressed worry over the late appointment of Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye as the Minister of Health.
According to Atik Mohammed, the appointment of Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye as heallth minister should have been done earlier, knowing how industrous, dynamic and principled he is.
On the 14th of february, the President, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo orchestrated a ministerial reshuffle which received a varied reactions from various sections of the public with same sharing opinions that, the change was rather too late.
”I wasn’t surprised my brother Okoe Boye was elevated to the position of health minister, even though i thought it was too late. I mean, someone who is energetic and deep like him should have been appointed long ago so that he can also contribute effecrively to help the country. The injury time reshuffles does not help. There is nothing substantial they can do currently,” he added.
