Ghanaian actor John Bredu Peasah, widely recognized as “Drogba” from the acclaimed YOLO series, has been noticeably absent from the spotlight for several years. Recently, in a poignant social media appeal by prominent content creator Kojo Sheldon, Drogba revealed his battle with a Demyelinating Disease and appealed to the public for financial support.

YOLO, a Ghanaian teenage TV series, serves as a guiding light for the youth, addressing the myriad challenges they encounter during adolescence. A spiritual successor to the popular Ghanaian TV series Things We Do for Love, YOLO is the brainchild of television producer and director Ivan Quashigah.

Drogba’s vibrant portrayal made him a standout presence in the series. However, his absence in recent years has been palpable.

Demyelinating Disease is a condition that affects the nervous system, causing disruptions in nerve function and potentially leading to a range of symptoms and challenges for those afflicted.
