Ashanti Regional Minister Frank Amoakohene has joined the Chief Executive Officer of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority, Julius Neequaye Kotey, to commission the new Adum Premium Ultra Office in Kumasi.
The facility, located in the commercial hub of the Ashanti Region, is expected to significantly improve service delivery and enhance convenience for residents and businesses.
The new office forms part of ongoing efforts to modernise the DVLA and make its operations more efficient and citizen-focused.
Dr. Amoakohene commended Mr. Kotey for what he described as exceptional leadership and innovation in transforming the Authority. He noted that the reforms being implemented are strengthening public confidence and setting a high standard for public sector service delivery.
A key highlight of the event was the announcement that the Kumasi Regional Office will begin operating a 24-hour uninterrupted service from next month.
The move aligns with the broader 24-hour economy vision championed by President John Dramani Mahama, aimed at boosting productivity and creating employment opportunities.
The Regional Minister reaffirmed government’s commitment to strengthening public institutions, improving efficiency, and building a more responsive system that meets the needs of citizens and supports economic growth.
