EDA Logistics and business partners, including Rubis Asphalt Middle East (RAME) and ERES Togo, have commissioned a renovated three-unit classroom block and canteen at Avornyokope Community Calvary Baptist Basic School in the Domeabra-Obom constituency.

The project is part of the company’s commitment to supporting education and promoting inclusive economic growth in Ghana through its corporate social responsibility initiatives.
The renovated facility will provide a conducive learning environment for hundreds of children who reside within that enclave and also ensure that no child learns on an empty stomach.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, CEO of EDA Logistics, Eric Dziedzom Akukumah, expressed the company’s pride in being part of the project.
“This gathering is not just to mark the commissioning of a renovated classroom, but to celebrate the opening of a new universe of possibilities. This facility is a testament to the power of collaboration and the impact of public-private partnerships in driving transformative change in our communities,” he said.
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Domeabra-Obom, Isaac Awuku Yibor, as well as representatives of Rubis Asphalt FZCO and ERES Togo, the traditional council, the Director of Education, Domeabra-Obom, and other dignitaries were present to witness the occasion.
The CEO of EDA Logistics further called on the government and other stakeholders to partner with the private sector to drive economic growth and transform the nation.
“The success of this project is living proof that when the private sector, organizations, traditional authorities, and government work together, we can achieve extraordinary results,” Mr. Akukumah added.

The company has expressed its readiness to partner with the government on more transformative assignments, emphasising that logistics is not just about moving goods, but about connecting opportunities, bridging gaps, and delivering hope.
EDA Logistics is a leading logistics company committed to supporting the growth of Ghana’s economy through strategic partnerships and investments in key sectors, including education and infrastructure.
